Marquee and outdoor events

Mobile disco entertainment held in a marquee offers a challenging and unique opportunity to provide a very effective sound and lighting installation to suit your needs. We use a goalpost lighting rig for best effect. The high elevation enables the lighting systems to achieve their best performance and look most effective under canvass and also keeps lights safely up out of the way.

Safety is paramount and we do not install lighting in the roof because the structure of most marquees is not suitable for such use. The power cables required to run the effects will be out of sight and secured with special insulating tape for obvious reasons.

We are also regularly requested to help out with decisions relating to the size of the disco in a marquee. Music selection and extras such as a P.A. system for speeches, liasing with the organisers on subjects such as Health and Safety can sometimes be difficult if you do not have all the answers they like to hear. You can count on our assistance with all of these things to make life easier and it is advisable that you contact us to discuss your event first to prevent costly mistakes as marquee hire can be a very expensive outlay.

As for the sound output needed for an outdoor event, it may be wise to do some research on uninvited neighbours who are not expected to participate before placing an order for a massive sound system.
