Karaoke

Karaoke can be great fun at a party and it brings people together in a way that harks back to the days of the sing-song around the piano during the war years. There were many pubs in and around Leicester in the old days, where we used to play regularly but unfortunately these places are becoming few and far between. It's still nice to see something that young and old can enjoy together though, regardless of whether they have any talent or not. The Karaoke part of any show is always a firm favourite with children and the youngsters are very keen to show off their knowledge of the latest pop tunes. They take to it like ducks to water, even the shy ones quickly overcome their fears with a little encouragement and are soon queuing up for another turn. Most people love to see the little ones entertaining, however, we are usually asked to keep it to a minimum - once the ice has been broken, the adults can get on with the serious business of strutting their stuff on the dance floor. We want you to have a great time, and if you do require a special track then check with us in advance and we will make every effort to obtain the track for you.

There are one or two things that can make people nervous about singing at a karaoke party and some people pay quite a few visits before deciding to get up and sing. It’s fascinating to watch people’s confidence grow and their talent develop over a period of time when they feel more relaxed. They may be shy about singing in front of an audience at first even if amongst friends and family, but they always sound better when they don’t care and they enjoy it.
