Health & safety

Employees, Contractors and Venue Visitors

It is the intention of the company to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of persons using or coming into contact with company premises or equipment. The company will, so far as is reasonably practicable, provide a safe environment, and ensure that premises, equipment and substances provided are safe and without risk to health.

Employees, contractors, visitors and self employed persons must:

Take reasonable care of themselves or others who may be affected by their acts or omissions and co-operate fully with other company employees, other contractors and staff or management of venues at which they work.
Comply with the company safety policy and associated safety regulations and codes of practice in respect of health and safety matters.
Report all accidents and dangerous occurrences to the service engineer or company owner.

For your peace of mind we carry up to £10 million pounds worth of Public Liability Insurance cover and all equipment is regularly maintained, tested and certificated adhering to the Portable Appliance (PAT) Testing requirements set out by the H.S.E Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Health and Safety has now become one of the most primary concerns of any entertainer and Venue Manager and you, the client needs to know that when you book a Disco that their equipment satisfies all the legal requirements and we are one of very few Mobile Discos based in Leicestershire that can provide this documentation plus a Health and Safety certificate as proof of compliance. Although Public Liability is not a legal requirement, it is common sense to have it in the event of some form of accident or damage.
